A fanzine, often called Span Inq, published by Suzanne Tompkins and Jerry Kaufman in New York City with a total of ten issues in the 1970s.

MacAvoy, Loren MacGregor, Barry Kent MacKay, Tim Marion, Patrick McGuire, Jim McLeod, Sandra Miesel, Andy Porter, Peter Roberts, Bill Rotsler, Jeff Schalles, Stu Shiffman, Marc Shirmeister, Elliot Shorter, James Shull, Jon Singer, Al Sirois, Dan Steffan, Steve Stiles, Mae Strelkov, Reed Waller, Taral Wayne, Gene Wolfe, and Jim Young.

At Balticon 10, The Spanish Imposition, a special issue of Spanish Inquisition, was presented live as Suzanne Tompkins's and Jerry Kaufman's FGoH speech. Dave Romm and others assisted. Dave Romm published the 12-page, one-shot Spanish Imposition at Balticon in 1976 in honor of Kaufman and Tompkins being GoHs. {There appears to be some confusion here...}
