Sandra Louise Miesel is an American fan, medievalist, and writer. She lives in the Indianapolis, Indiana, area, as did her husband, fellow fan John Miesel; they were married 42 years until his death in 2006.
An anthology of her fan writing (which appeared in many fanzines over the years) was collected in Sweetmeats -- The Best of Sandra Miesel edited by Jerry Kaufman.
Her early work was SF and fantasy criticism, fields in which she has remained active. She is a literary analyst and has described herself as "the world's greatest expert" on Poul Anderson and Gordon R. Dickson.
One of her recent works is The Da Vinci Hoax: Exposing the Errors in The Da Vinci Code (2004), with Carl E. Olson.
