ConQuesT

A regional convention sometimes called CQT which is sponsored by the Kansas City Science Fiction & Fantasy Society and held in Kansas City, MO since 1972, usually over the Memorial Day weekend.

It began as Mid-America Con in June 1972, followed by BYOB-Con from Fall 1972 to 1979. In 1983 the numbering of ConQuesT conventions was adjusted to accommodate Mid-America Con and nine BYOB-Cons.
