Norman L. Shorrock, a Liverpool fan, was active in the 1950s. He was a member of the Liverpool Group, LaSFaS (a former chairman), L2SFS, Cheltenham SFC, and SFCoL. He was a Knight of St. Fantony.

He was on the Brumcon, Cytricon III, Cytricon IV, and Loncon committees. He was program mastermind at the Loncon. He was a member of MAD.

Shorrock was part of MaD Productions, creating taperas and fannish films, including The March of Slime, which introduced blog.

In a fancy dress presentation at Cytricon II in 1956, reported Eric Jones in Sidereal #4 (June 1956), "Norman Shorrock wore a most weird rig-out which comprised a Davy Crockett hat complete with a powered propeller."

He was married to Ina Shorrock.
