The Best of Fandom 1958 as a fanthology published in 1959 by Guy Terwilleger under Twig Publications with Dan Adkins as Art Director and Diane Terwilleger as Assistant Editor. It was published in an edition of 120 dittoed copies. It was compiled by asking individual fanzines editors for the best material that appeared in their fanzine in 1958 and then the editors selecting the best from that best.
In addition, Dan Adkins produced an art folio of full page, full color ditto with art by George Barr, Colin Cameron, George Scithers, Robert E. Gilbert, Bjo Wells Richard Bergeron, Juanita Coulson. Art Lee, Barbi Johnson, Larry Bourne, Tom Reamy, Bill Pearson, Arthur Thomson and Adkins himself.
