A Chicago area regional convention founded in 1992 and held annually until 2014. The convention gets its name from DuPage County Convention. Membership was consistently just above or below 700. The con's name was the brain child of Helene O'Neill. Super-Con-Duck-Tivity is the corporate sponsor.

Since 1992, the winners of the Golden Duck Awards for excellence in children's science fiction literature are announced at DucKon, although the award presentation is generally made at the following Worldcon.

DucKon began having furry programming in its third year and by its eighth year, the furry presence accounted for more than a third of the attendees. In 2000, the furry programming was spun-off to form Midwest Furfest.

DucKon is also noted for frequent sensational performances, beginning at DucKon 16, by Zeusaphones, singing Tesla coils which would hurl musical lightning bolts outdoors in the hotel parking lot. The group of high-voltage engineers responsible eventually became the Masters of Lightning.

Given the name of the convention, its parent corporation, and the awards they present, it was inevitable that the convention's mascot is a duck.

After DucKon 23, attempts to organize further DucKons were unsuccessful, and the concom announced the termination of DucKon.
