MiSHAP, a Detroit-based local APA, aka the Michigan Society of (Hapless) Amateur Publishers, was founded in January 1975 by Cy Chauvin and Leah Zeldes and lasted at least until 1985. It was a running joke as to whether the H stood for "hapless" or was merely the silent fannish H. Local members were largely drawn from the W3F, and collations took place at club meetings. Fl. 1975–85.
