(Did you mean the Torcon fanzine?)

Torque was a convention held in Toronto, Canada, organized by Taral. It was a "word-oriented" convention with no films or video room. In mid-1985, he announced that the next planned and announced convention was cancelled due to the amount of his time it required and he planned no more.

Convention Dates GoHs, Notes
Torque 1 1980 Wilson "Bob" Tucker
Torque-and-a-1/2 A benefit to cover the Torque 1 deficit. Attendance was 25-30. John Robert Colombo spoke about his anthology Other Canadas.
Torque 2 July 10-12, 1981 Thomas M. Disch, Ross Pavlac
Torque 3 May 21-23, 1982 Samuel R. Delany, Don D'Ammassa
