Torque 1

Torque 1 was a convention held in 1980 at the Roehampton Place Hotel in Toronto, ON. The GoH was Wilson "Bob" Tucker.

Attendance was 80–90 and included Chandler Davis, John Robert Colombo, John Millard, David Awlard, Brad Hawkins, and Maureen Hawkins. Tucker showed film of 1950s Midwestcon conventions, talking about attendees visible on the screen. Committee had a $400 deficit.
