Banana Wings is a British fanzine edited by Claire Brialey and Mark Plummer. It has been nominated many times for the Hugo Award for Best Fanzine. It also won the Nova Award for Best Fanzine in 1996-1998, 2005, 2006, 2009, 2012, and 2013. It won the FAAn Award for Best Fanzine in 2007, 2010, and 2013--2015, 2017, 2019. It has been published since 1996. Issue 56 also won the FAAn Award for Best Cover in 2015.

Contributors have included Tanya Brown, Graham Charnock, Dave Langford (Ansible), Catherine Pickersgill, Greg Pickersgill (Rastus Johnson's Cakewalk), Yvonne Rousseau, Maureen Kincaid Speller, Michael Abbott, Sandra Bond (QuasiQuote), rich brown (crifanac), Cardinal Cox, Chris Garcia (The Drink Tank, Journey Planet), John Hertz, Tony Keen, Paul Kincaid, Robert Lichtman, Curt Phillips, David Redd, Andy Sawyer, James Shields, Steve Stiles, Shelby Vick (Confusion), and Taral Wayne (DNQ)

The name comes from the combination of Mark's former zine, Banana Skins, and Claire's former zine Waxen Wings.

The editors say of it:

"Banana Wings is a science fiction fanzine published from Croydon since 1996. It has been variously described as too long, too small, too serious, too fannish, too irregular and too frequent, but some people like it anyway. "It has been appearing quarterly since late 2004, and remains resolutely a paper publication. To help to answer the question: ‘How can I get hold of a copy then?'
