The National Fantasy Fan (TNFF) [ISSN: 2169-3595] is the Official Organ clubzine of the N3F. From 1941 to 1944, it was known as Bonfire. Between 2001 and 2011, its name was shortened to The Fan in self references. The fanzine was generally (and quite consistently) published 6 times a year, in February, April, June, August, October, and December. Some years had fewer issues, a few years had 12 monthly issues. On one occasion, two issues were published as a double issue. Volume numbers generally corresponded to years, with an exception for Vol. 69. The Feb. 1962 issue incorrectly claims it is vol. 20, #1; it is vol. 21, #1. There may be other printing errors of this form. In most cases, it seems safe to assume that when issues did not list an editor, that the editor from earlier that year continued, but this may not always be correct.

1954 V. 13 John Magnus tnfff.org incorrectly lists the first three issues as being edited by Donald Susan. He was the President, but not the editor. The May issue (V. 13 #2) lists the editors as Nan Gerding, Honey Wood, Stan Woolston, and John Magnus (in that order), but the editorial is signed by Magnus, who makes reference to having been the editor for V13, #1. The others listed as editors are in charge of certain departments.
