NASFiC 11, Detcon1, was a convention held July 17–20, 2014, at the Renaissance Center Marriott, Detroit. Guests of Honor: Steven Barnes, John Picacio, Bernadette Bosky, Arthur D. Hlavaty, Kevin J. Maroney, Helen Greiner, Bill Sutton, and Brenda Sutton. Chairman: Tammy Coxen. Chairs Emeritus: Roger Sims and Fred Prophet.
The bid committee was Detroit in 2014.
The daily newsletter was called Internal ConBustion and pubbed six issues.
Features included a track of Michigan fanhistory programming and related exhibits, including a recap of the memorial exhibit about longtime Detroit BNF Howard DeVore originally presented at L.A.con IV in 2006 (where Howard, who died in 2005, was to be fan goh).
