Goontact was a one-shot 1957 apazine 'published once in the lifetime by the GOONTACT group: Vin¢ Clarke [given below as editor], Joy Clarke, 'Sandy' Sanderson, and Chuck Harris' (who is given below as Publisher with his address; perhaps the occasion was a mutual visit?). It is a spoof 1st April 1957 'No 13, a FAPA [78] and OMPA Postmailing'.

Its 4 pages combine spoof news items (credited by authors' initials) with some promotion of the coming Loncon, and a column of relevant 'New Current Fanzines'.

It is a spoof of Contact, the 1956–7 newszine published by the Contact Group (Ron Bennett, Jan Jansen, John Hitchcock, Ellis Mills and Steve Schultheis),
