The 1983 TAFF race to send a North American fan to the UK for Albacon II, the 1983 Eastercon in Glasgow, was four-way, between:

Voting ran until December 18, 1982, with the voting fee 50p/$1. Administrators were Stu Shiffman and Kevin Smith.

Avedon Carol needed 67 votes to win and, just barely, got them on the first round. Only fragments of trip report were published due to the TAFF Wars breaking out.
