I'm beginning to appreciate the way [[Mike Meara]] felt a couple of years ago. Is it really worth perpetuating a living corpse of an [[APA]]. Shouldn't we merely give credence to [[Darrol Pardoe|Darroll's]] conviction that OMPA is dead? Wipe the slate clean and start all over again if need be. [[TAFF]] and the [[Doc Weir Award]] award struggle on year after year as anachronistic non-entities. Is OMPA similarly moribund. It's dead but it won't lie down?

It's unclear whether #78 was in fact the last issue. Editor Keith Walker wrote:
