A convention held in Des Moines, IA, from 1990, sponsored by the Des Moines Science Fiction & Fantasy Society. Until his death in 2011, Rusty Hevelin was toastmaster for most of them!
In the 2010s, Demicon drifted toward being more of a gaming and media convention.
