Tammy Coxen is a former Ann Arbor, MI, fan and smof. She is one of the administrators of the JoF (Journey Platypi of Fandom) discussion group on Facebook.
Smoffing[edit]
Tammy served as a board member of the Ann Arbor Science Fiction Association (AASFA), and was chair of the convention it hosts, ConFusion, from 2000–2003. She was a founding member of MFCI, or Midfan, and chaired the second Midwest Construction conrunning con, held in Ann Arbor.
In 2002, Tammy was Art Show head at World Horror Con in Chicago. Tammy also ran Program Ops for Torcon 3 in 2003, and co-edited the (unofficial) Hoax Newsletter #Pi with René Walling.
She chaired Detcon 1, the 2014 NASFiC, in downtown Detroit. Before that, she also led the Bid Committee.
Tammy was the Deputy DH-WSFS for MidAmeriCon II in 2016. In 2019, she served as DH for Member and Staff Services for Dublin in 2019.
In 2021, she chaired the all-virtual Capricon.
