APA-50 was an APA that required members to have been born after January 1, 1950. Its name was, more fully, The Amateur Press Association of 1950 (but no one used it).

It was modeled after APA-45 and founded in 1974 by Chris Sherman. Except for one or two of the founding members who would have just missed the cutoff, it could just as well have been APA-55, and its apazines were full of teenage angst. Fl. 1974-81. It was still active as of 2024, though no longer with birthdate limitations.
