Becky Thomson (previously Bennett, now Veal) is a Seattle conrunning fan. She was a founding member (and officer) of the Northwest Science Fiction Society and Norwescon, with her then-husband, Greg Bennett.

After moving to Florida, she helped found Oasis in Orlando and served as an officer. She started the Orlando in 1992 Worldcon bid, which she co-chaired with Joe Siclari and Tom Veal. She was then co-chairman of MagiCon until a few months before the convention, when she stepped down to vice chairman for health reasons.

Her subsequent fannish activities include serving as an associate chairman of Chicon 2000 and as a division or department head at numerous Worldcons. She was a member of BCAPA and VANAPA.

Becky was living in Seattle and married to Greg Bennett when they found fandom at MidAmeriCon, the 1976 Worldcon. After their divorce, she married Jim Thomson on May 22, 1980. On June 25, 2016, she married fan Tom Veal.

She is originally from Galesburg, Illinois.
