Roger Dard, an Australian fan active in the 1950s, was editor of the first Western Australian fanzine, Star Rover. He was a member of the Western Australian Science Fantasy Society and the Australian representative of Operation Fantast and Fantasy Times. His correspondent Vernon McCain called him “Australia’s number one actifan” in Psychotic 11.

He was known to have had difficulties with Australian Customs.

Dard issued the bibliography Fantastic Novels: a check list from publishing house Dragon Press in 1957. This was an index to the pulp magazine Fantastic Novels.
