Barbara Silverberg (née Brown) was active in fandom during the 1950s–70s.

At Detention, the 1959 Worldcon, she appeared with Belle and Frank Dietz, and Chris and Sam Moskowitz dressed as various characters from The Wizard of Oz, as well as in a fannish play. At Tricon, the 1966 Worldcon, she participated in the “A Galaxy of Fashion” show.

She edited the book Phoenix Feathers: A Collection of Mythical Monsters (E. P. Dutton, 1973).

She married SF fan and author Robert Silverberg in 1956; they separated in 1976, and divorced a decade later. She seems to have gafiated after their breakup.
