Leo Margulies and Oscar J. Friend asked SF writers to select their best story. This 1949 anthology from Merlin Press, New York, was the result.

Sprague de Camp, Paul Ernst, John Russell Fearn, Edmond Hamilton, Robert A. Heinlein, L. Ron Hubbard, Frank Belknap Long, Jr., Sam Merwin, Fletcher Pratt, Clark Ashton Smith, Theodore Sturgeon, John Taine, A. E. van Vogt, Manly Wade Wellman, and Jack Williamson are the authors included.
