Gardner Dozois

Gardner Raymond Dozois was an American prozine editor, anthologist and short fiction writer. Besides editing numerous themed anthologies (often with Jack Dann), he edited the magisterial Year's Best Science Fiction from 1984 until his death.
He was one of the founders of the Hugo Losers Party. He was a member of the Guilford Gafia.
He was married to Susan Casper.

- Being Gardner Dozois, a hardcover biography by Michael Swanwick, was published October 1, 2001, by Old Earth Books. It was a 2002 Best Related Book Hugo nominee.

- Hugo Awards: As editor of Asimov's from 1986 to 2004, Dozois won the Best Professional Editor Hugo from 1988–93, 1995–2001, and 2003–4, and he was nominated for it in 1987, 1994, 2002, 2005, and 2007. He was nominated for the 1972 Best Novella Hugo, the 1973 Best Novelette Hugo, the 1974 Best Novella Hugo, the 1975 Best Novella Hugo, and the 1984 Best Short Story Hugo.
