It is a rare fanclub prosperous enough to own its own clubhouse. LASFS, BSFS, and NESFA do, but we're unaware of others today. In the past, some clubs had clubrooms, generally rented space, but most have met in members’ homes, bars and restaurants.
In the mid-1960s, London fandom attempted to rent a clubhouse. It is unclear if they succeeded, but Ratatosk #2 reports on a failed attempt.
