NASFiC 13, aka Spikecon, was held in conjunction with Westercon 72, MantiCon 2019, and a 1632 Minicon July 4–7, 2019, at the Hilton Garden Inn and the Davis Conference Center in Layton, UT (near where the Golden Spike was hammered in to complete the transcontinental railroad). The committee for all these cons was the same, and was chaired by Kate Hatcher, but the GoHs were different.
Westercon[edit]
Author GoH was Jim Butcher, Artist GoH was Vincent Villafranca, Filk GoH was Tom Smith, Cosplay GoH was Kitty Krell, Special Guest was Eric Flint, Theater Special Guest was Dewey Douglas, and the Fan GoH Trio was Kevin Standlee, Lisa Hayes & Kuma Bear.
NASFiC[edit]
The Author GoHs were David Weber and Laurell K. Hamilton, Artist GoH was Vincent Villafranca, Artist and Costumer GoH was Dragon Dronet, Editor GoH was Susan Chang, Fan GoH was Linda Deneroff, and Fan GoHs and MCs were Bjo & John Trimble. (Villafranca was a GoH of both conventions.)

Local Guest Author was Eric James Stone and Local Guest Artist was Newton Ewell.
The Westercon 72 committee won the bidding to hold the 2019 NASFiC in conjunction with Spikecon at the 2019 NASFiC Site Selection conducted by Worldcon 76 in San Jose, the 2018 Worldcon, in San Jose, CA.
Site selection was conducted for Westercon 74 and, because of a non-U.S. Worldcon, the 2020 NASFiC; see 2021 Westercon Site Selection and 2020 NASFiC Site Selection.
