Kathleen “Kate” Secor, a Charlottesville, VA, conrunning fan, was a founder and chair of NSCon, an sf convention at Vassar, in 2001. She worked on Baycon for a number of years and headed programming for Capclave 2020. She was Associate Area Head of Site Selection for MidAmeriCon II in 2016 and Deputy Division Head for the WSFS Division at Worldcon 75 in 2017.
She was co-chair, with Cliff Dunn, of the Memphis in 2023 Worldcon bid, which announced that she would be con chair if they won.
