Seacon, the 1961 Worldcon, was held September 2-4 at the Hyatt House in Seattle. GoH: Robert A. Heinlein. Harlan Ellison was Toastmaster. Chairman: Wally Weber. Attendance was about 300 people.

The 1962 Worldcon Site Selection chose Chicago.
