Margaret Basta was a Detroit fan, active in the 1970s. She was a member of the Wayne Third Foundation. Together with her sister, Laura Basta, she was a founder and officer of the Star Trek club S.T.A.R. She was later involved in Beauty and the Beast fringe fandom.
