The Bloomington Conference was an early convention held November 22, 1942, at Jane and Bob Tucker's house in Bloomington, IL. It seems to have been a fan gathering-party-poker game. (Making it, for the time, a respectable convention!)

Tucker describes it in two pages of "minutes" in Le Zombie #50 pp 9-10 (online here). It is possible that the minutes are not entirely fictional.

Attendance was Niel DeJack, Ed Connor, Frank Robinson, Abby Lu and Al Ashley, Tommy Tomkins, Walt Liebscher and the Tuckers.

This may have been a continuation of the pre-Chicon I conferences convened for Worldcon planning, described in the Fancyclopedia 1 entry under Conference.
