(???? -)

Harry O. Dickinson, professionally published as H. O. Dickinson, was a UK pro likely from the Liverpool area and active in the 1930s. He was listed as a member of the Science Fiction Association (SFA) under the name of 'H. O. Dickenson' in Science Fiction Gazette #3 although he is never mentioned as a member in Novae Terrae, the more usual forum for announcing new joiners. According to Then, he was elected 'honorary treasurer' of the Liverpool SFA branch on June 21, 1938. In a letter to Then, Ron Holmes claimed that 'Dickinson never appeared at meetings again'.

He wrote only two published genre stories, 'The Sex Serum' (Wonder Stories, 1935) and 'The Giant Bacillus' (Tales of Wonder, 1938). In Novae Terrae #16 (August–September 1937), Ted Carnell reported that 'Wally Gillings and family visited Eric Russell at Liverpool for two weeks. Both Fearn and Dickenson [sic] were visited'.
