Mark Meenan is a Scottish fan and convention organiser based in Glasgow. His first convention was Albacon II in 1983. He enjoyed it so much that he became a regular convention volunteer, vounteering at Invention later the same year, then Albacon 84. His first committee role was for Albacon 85 and he has since served on the committees of four Eastercons, most recently Satellite 4 and for the current series of Glasgow Satellite conventions.

He was responsible for site liaison for the Glasgow Worldcons Intersection and Interaction. He was also Deputy Division Head for Logistics for Loncon 3, Deputy Division Head for WSFS for Dublin 2019 and is Division Head for Facilities for Glasgow 2024.

He has a keen interest in the history of Glasgow fandom and in bringing new blood into conrunning. He co-edited an issue of the fanzine Journey Planet on forty years of Glasgow conventions in 2018, which was a fanzine Hugo finalist.
