Hawaii in 1981 Flyer.jpg

A bid to hold the 1981 Worldcon at the Sheraton Waikiki. The committee was Stewart Brownstein, Amy Brownstein, Leigh Couch, Ben Jason, Pat Kennedy, Peggy Kennedy, Sue Lewis, Tony Lewis, Carol Resnick, Mike Resnick, Lou Tabakow and JoAnn Wood.

It looks like it was a serious bid, but it did not make it onto the site selection ballot. The winning bid was Denver in '81 which went on to run Denvention Two. See 1981 Worldcon Site Selection for details.
