Zothique, aka the U. T. El Paso Science Fiction and Science Fantasy Association, was a 1970s fan club in El Paso, TX, nominally based at the University of Texas El Paso. Members included Willie Siros, Robert Taylor, Ed Scarborough, and Christine Pasanen (later Christine Morris).

Zothique is an imagined future continent in a 1930s series of short stories by Clark Ashton Smith.

After Siros drove to California for a Westercon, Willie said to himself, "Hey — we could do that," and Solarcon was born.

This is a club page. Please extend it by adding information about when and where the club met, when and by whom it was founded, how long it was active, notable accomplishments, well-known members, clubzines, any conventions it ran, external links to the club's website, other club pages, etc.

When there's a floreat (Fl.), this indicates the time or times for which we have found evidence that the club existed. This is probably not going to represent the club's full lifetime, so please update it if you can!
