(January 6, 1959 – )

Ahrvid Engholm (born Jonas Arvid Engholm), is a Swedish conrunning and fanzine fan who has worked on many NasaCons as well as on Swecons, Conscience and others, and founded the Baltcon. His fanzines include Vheckans Avfentyr, Fanytt, Smorgasboard, Science Fiction Journalen, Multum Est, and many others. He was a member of FHAPA.

One of Sweden's most active fans from his first appearance in fandom in 1975, Engholm is also highly opinionated and convinced of the infallibility of his views and judgments. Not surprisingly, for this reason he has been involved in most feuds in Swedish fandom during his active period, and fallen out with numerous other Swedish fans.

He has written a Swedish online fannish encyclopedia, Fandboken. He started a Swedish sf writers' mailing list Skriva. He did two collections (in English) of Swedish fan writing, Swede Ishes. He is a member of EAPA. He helped create the hoax Bob Weber. He was an agent for the Britain in '87 Worldcon bid. More recently, he has also published numerous short stories, both crime and sf, many collected in book form.
