The Copley Marriott is a large hotel (more than 1000 rooms) near Boston's Back Bay and attached to Copley Place and attached by an indoor walkway to the Prudential Center. It opened in 1984 and was the site of Boskone 22, whose business it had solicited. Shortly after Boskone 22 it decided that the giant Boskones were not a good fit -- it had dreams of the very upscale -- and did not make a serious offer for Boskone 23.
It was used for sleeping rooms at Noreascon 4, but its function space was unused because the combination of the Sheraton-Boston and the Hynes was sufficient.
