A fanzine published by The Nameless Ones, a club in Seattle, as their "official literary publication." Sinisterra was the club's first clubzine, but it appeared under this title for only eight issues. After the mid-1950s, Cry of the Nameless became the club's OO, winning the 1960 Best Fanzine Hugo.

An interesting feature of Sinisterra was the inclusion of photographs on the covers and/or interior pages.

A detailed, retrospective review of the Autumn, 1950 (Volume 1, Number 3) issue was published in Scientifiction: The First Fandom Report (New Series, Number 1, 1st Quarter, 2004).
