In 2020, three of the guests of honor, VanTilburg, Koprucki, and McGuire, were part of Breezycon, the online version of the Windycon that replaced the COVID-19-cancelled Windycon 47 in 2020. Early in 2021, the concom made the decision to hold the con on-line only over concerns that COVID-19 would still be impacting the world enough that calling for an in-person convention would be risky.
