FUNcon II was Westercon 22. It was held July 3-6, 1969 at the Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica, CA. GoH: Randall Garrett; FGoH: Roy Tackett. Chaired by Chuck Crayne and Bruce Pelz. Harlan Ellison was toastmaster.
It was sponsored by Future Unbounded, and its bid Los Angeles in '69 defeated a semi-serious Tijuana in '69 bid by Bill Rotsler and Earl Kemp for Tijuana, Mexico at site selection held at the 1968 Worldcon which was also the 1968 Westercon. See 1969 Westercon Site Selection.
