NotFans
The NotFans was a club at in Nottingham, UK. It was founded in 1960 after the Kettering Minicon where Nottingham resident Jim Linwood met Bob Parkinson, then a student at the University. Other members included John Dyke, also a student at the University, and Jacqui Bratton as well as 'various local BSFA members and friends'. The group met regularly on Wednesday nights in the Bell Inn on Angel Row[1], but disbanded in mid-1962 after Parkinson and Dyke graduated and moved away. The club's fanzine, Jetstream, lasted just one issue. Jim Linwood published two more issues on his own, through OMPA.
Members[edit]
A second nearly contemporary Nottingham club, Forest Fields Science Fiction Society, was apparently unrelated.
