Meander

Meander was an 8-page single-issue apazine published by Chuck Harris with illustrations by Arthur Thomson in winter 1954 for OMPA mailing 2. The British Fanzine Bibliography lists a second issue in the sixth mailing but this isn't mentioned in APAthy and so is likely a mistake.

Harris explained that:

Frankly, it's just a sneaky way, of catching up with my mail. It isn't a reviewzine — I think it would be impertinent to criticise somebody else's fanzine whilst there isn't one from me for them to hit back at — but various comments occurred to me as I read thru the last mailing, and I may just as well put them down here. I'm going to be everso tactful, but I'm almost certain to insult somebody before I'm finished. I'm sorry — but it takes a genius to comment on fanac and know instinctively what not to say, and I am not a genius. (That's confidential of course.)
