Fandbooks are special publications of the National Fantasy Fan Federation. The purpose of a fandbook is to provide pointers from veteran fans to neofans.

Over the years, fandbooks have been written by Donald Franson, Robert Lichtman, Len Moffatt and Ron Ellik and Jon D. Swartz.

The word fandbook is a scientificombination of fan and handbook.
