Cyril Whitaker

Cyril C. Whitaker, sometimes referred to as Cyril Whittaker and once as C. C. Witaker, was a UK fan from Spalding in the mid-1950s and 1960s.

He is listed in Ron Bennett's Directory of Science Fiction Fandom for 1955–7. He was a member of Cytricon, the 1955 Eastercon. He attended Cytricon III in 1957 and appears on the membership list for Loncon I later that year. He was also a member of the Brumcon in 1959 and appears intermittently on Eastercon membership lists up to possibly 1965 where an attendee called 'C. C. Witaker' is included

Vector #42 notes that he contacted Doreen Parker in September 1966 about a Lincoln Astronomical Society event, suggesting he may have been a member of both that organisation and the BSFA.

He may have been Cyril Clive Whitaker (January 28 1933 – May 10, 1969).
