United Kingdom encompasses England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales – or alternatively island of Great Britain, the north-eastern part of the island of Ireland, and most of the smaller islands within the British Isles. Its fandom in the has a long and very rich history.
BNFs include Ted Carnell, Vin¢ Clarke, Dave Langford, Peter Weston, Walt Willis and James White. There have been eight British Worldcons.
