Alan Date, aka ALDA, was a UK fanartist from Swansea in Wales in the 1950s. He was listed as 'staff artist' for Typo. He also contributed artwork to Burroughsania.

He is listed in Ron Bennett's Directory of Science Fiction Fandom for 1956 and 1957 but not thereafter.
