(???? – )
Alan J. Chorley was a fan from Bristol, UK active in the 1960s and early 1970s. He was a member of the BSFA and the Bristol and District Group (BaD) from 1965, and and attended Sci-Con, the 1970 Eastercon, and was a member of Heicon, the 1970 Worldcon.
Chorley was reportedly the only fan in Bristol when Archie and Beryl Mercer moved to the city in the early 1960s. He was recruited into the Bristol and District Group on its formation in September 1965 and attended every meeting until he went off to university in Warwick, likely around 1967[1]. He did though clearly retain fannish contacts until at least 1970.
