Badinage was the clubzine of the Bristol and District SF Club, edited first by Graham Boak and later by Rob F. Johnson. The first issue contained a letters column, from fans who had been persuaded to comment on the non-existent issue number zero. A special issue of Bandinage was included in the Thirdmancon Combozine in April 1968.

Buck Coulson reviewed #4 in Yandro #181 (May 1968):

I'm not sure that I particularly liked the fanzine, but at least it seemed a bit different. Mediocre fiction, poetry, articles. The editors hope to make it a clearing house of international fan news, in addition. If they can concentrate on material they like and ignore letters from US fans telling them what they should be publishing, they could come up with a fine fanzine.
