Russ Wood (sometimes Rus) was a 1940s California fan married to fellow fan Pogo (Mary Gray) on December 11, 1941 in Yuma, Arizona.

In 1942, they founded the Harbor Fantasy League, a club to which only married couples could belong, and edited a clubzine, Pogorus, which was also the couple’s joint nickname.

Wood contributed to such fmz as The Timebinder. He died in Panorama City, California in 1979.
