Ron Clarke is an Australian SF fan living in the Sydney area who found fandom in 1964. He helped set up the Syncon and was a founding member of the Sydney Science Fiction Foundation and ANZAPA. He has been a prolific publisher of fanzines. He ran for DUFF in 1994. He is married to fellow fan Sue Clarke. John Foyster wrote Ron's the One! in support of his DUFF candidacy.
