Jenkinson cover for Stardust 3 (August 1940).

(???? –)

H. M. “Morrie” Jenkinson, a fanartist active in the 1940s, was hailed as a promising “new find in the art field of fantasy” for such artwork as his cover for Stardust 3 (August 1940).

He seems to have gotten tangled up with the Cosmic Circle, and shared a penname, Rex Matthews, with Claude Degler. They may have met at Michicon 1 in 1941, which both attended, and he might have been involved with Councilcon. However, he appears to have gafiated by the mid-40s.
