Margaret Ann Basta was a Detroit fan, active in the 1970s. She was a member of the Wayne Third Foundation. Together with her sister, Laura Basta, she was a founder and officer of the Star Trek club S.T.A.R. She was later involved in Beauty and the Beast fringe fandom.

Margaret was found dead in her home on September 4, 2022.
